We shear our sheep on the farm and choose local mills within Connecticut. Coopworth sheep is a dual-purpose breed which yields a luxuriously soft fiber for knitting or crocheting. This current batch of roving was processed at Still River Fiber Mill in eastern CT. The roving is 100% Mayapple Hill Farm Coopworth wool. The roving can be sold by the ounce or pound. Our roving is not dyed, and available in creamy white and natural-colored (light sand).
