  • We shear our Coopworth sheep on the farm and choose local mills within Connecticut. Coopworth sheep is a dual-purpose breed which yields a luxuriously soft fiber for knitting or crocheting. This current batch of yarn was processed at Still River Fiber Mill in eastern CT. These skeins are a blend of 80% Mayapple Hill Farm Coopworth wool & 20% alpaca giving it a nice halo. This DK weight is 3-ply and packaged in 2 oz. / 130 yd. skeins. Our yarn is not dyed, and available in creamy white and natural-colored (light sand).
