There’s a big difference between pork raised on small farms and the factory-farmed meat you’ll find in the supermarket. Our pigs spend their days outdoors where they’re allowed to move freely and live comfortably, rooting in the soil, basking in the sun, and wallowing in the mud. It takes longer to raise pork this way but we believe it’s a better way to raise animals, and it produces meat with better texture and more flavor.
A side of pork (half a pig) is about 70–80 lbs and fits neatly into two or three boxes.
Every order is custom processed and packaged by a local butcher to your exact wishes. Like thick-cut chops? Prefer smaller roasts for easy weeknight meals? Each order is cut and packaged to your exact specifications. We’ll walk you through the process so you can choose what works best for your kitchen. Typical cuts usually include:
Pork chops
Ribs
Pork belly (usually used for bacon)
Ham
